Moore Books is an independent bookstore in Havertown, PA with a calm and inviting atmosphere. We aim to foster and support a love of reading for all ages as well as providing a sense of community through various events. Slow down for a bit and stop by to browse and enjoy the special sense of peace that comes by being surrounded by books.
About the Owner: Lorianne Moore is a Havertown resident happily residing in the Chatham Park area with her son. After 15 years climbing the corporate ladder, Lori was ready to make a change and follow her lifelong dream of opening her own store. Being an avid reader and wanting to help foster a sense of community lead her to the decision open an independent bookstore.

Our store aims to provide a safe and welcoming space for all in the local community focused on maintaining a comfortable and inclusive atmosphere, and of course… books!
